Yesterday I went out on a limb and cut between 4-6in off of my hair. I was really nervous to do it. For a while now I have had a "safe look" just pulling my hair back and going. Until yesterday, it feels good and looks so much better. I think my new do has boosted my self confidence a little, I feel great.

Valentines Weekend.
Stephen and I really are not that into Valentines Day. To me it is just another day that one person said; Let everyone on February 14 celebrate there love to one another. In my opinion that is stupid because, if you are in love and happily married or whatever the case maybe, you should want to celebrate your love and do things for one another any other day in the year. So for Valentines all we did was went to eat at Macaroni Grill and rented a movie. Even though the wait was 2 hours at the restaurant I still had fun hanging out with my favorite person. While we were waiting Stephen suggested that we go to H.H. Greg for a little bit. When we got there Stephen told me to go pick out a camera that I wanted, I was so excited. I was taking pictures as soon as I got into the car. I was worse than a kid on Christmas Day. After all the hustle and bustle of the night, I was glad to get back home. It was nice to pop in the movie and curl up on couch together. I think that we both agreed that it was the best part of the whole night.
Sunday after Church we got to spend a little time with our sweet nephews. Eli is getting so big, he has changed so much from the last time we saw him. He will just smile and goo at everything.

Wonderful Day.
I had the day off Wednesday, so I headed to Nashville to see my parents. I was in desperate need of some mom time and dad pestering and just to hang out with my sister. When I got to mom and dads, my mom was making a awesome lunch that consisted of roast, black eyed peas with homemade tomato relish, okra, corn and, Oh my goodness! buttermilk corn bread. After lunch I think my body wanted to go into a food coma I was ready for a nap. I got to go to the hardware store with dad in the new truck they got. It was fun to hang out with dad even though it was for just 20 minutes. It sounds silly that I got excited to go just down the road with dad but, when you live 2 hours away the time I get to spend with family is precious. It snowed while I was there it was beautiful. I was glad when it mostly melted when I got ready to go home, not that getting stuck at my parents house would have been a bad thing.

Cruise News
St. Martin. Rather to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas; St. Thomas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; also
Grand Turk. We are so EXCITED!!! We will leave from Miami which is really cool, Stephen and I have never been there, so it will be a new experience for the both of us. We won't get to stay the night in Miami, we will have fly to and from; before and after we get off the ship. All is well though, I'm sure we will be ready to get back home after being gone for seven days.

CRUISE!!!!!!
I think Iam driving not only Stephen crazy but, everyone else. Stephen informed me that we were going try to book a cruise for August at the first of February. Well... Ever since he told me that I have been listening to some Bob Marley music, looking up bathing suits, dresses, and what excursions that we would like to go on. I can not help myself Im just so so so EXCITED, it is no where near time to go we have seven months left to plan.
We would be going on a seven day to; Nassau, Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Martin/Marteen.
I tell you what though, cruising is the best vacation you could go on. Just the thought of being out in the middle of the ocean on a boat with no cell phones, NO computer or Internet unless you pay for it and who would want be on the computer/Internet when there is so much to do. NO BOSSES!!!! It is just you with the one you love relaxing, soaking up the sun, eating more than you could ever think of eating, and smoothie drinking. MAN IM JUST TO EXCITED!!!!!!!

MEET ELIJAH!!!
Stephen and I are a aunt and uncle again as of Monday morning at 7:22 am. This is Elijah Gene Wheeler he weighed 8lbs. 10 oz, 20in long when he entered the world. He is the most precious beautiful baby boy I have ever seen, it almost makes you want one of your own. HaHa Sorry, mom and dad not for a few more years. Linsey had to have a C-Section but is doing very well. They get to go home today, I think Carson will be glad, Linsey said he is so confused with everything. He thinks baby Eli will live at the hospital and is having trouble with his mommy not being able to get up and move around. It is going to be interesting to see howPosted by wonderfuljourney at Thursday, January 15, 2009 1 comments

Christmas Pictures, Finally
Sorry, it has taken so long to get some Christmas pictures up and going. I never really thought about it but, a digital camera is so much easier to use than those one time disposable cameras.
I am really hoping that my handsome, very loving, sweet, husband will get me one for my b-day that is coming up in about 4 weeks wink. wink.We finally got our kitchen table up, it looks beautiful. Stephen had a time with putting it together piece by piece, I tried to help as much as I could but, the table is so heavy.
For Christmas Eve we really didn't do a whole lot, I had to work until 2 which was crappy since I had a million and one things to do. We spent some time with Stephens brother and sister-in law, also with the cutest kid ever our sweet nephew Carson. Finally when all that was over with we went home to get started on preparing Christmas day lunch. I think we prepared and cooked until mid-night. Thank God for cell phones, my mother is so wonderful and patient, I think I called her a good 20 time Christmas Eve asking how do you this and that. Oh! Turkeys are nasty. I was not really aware that you had to stick your hand in its behind and pull out a turkey neck. Why do they put a turkey neck with the turkey? Do people actually eat it? Also a liver looking thing, along with a bag of yuck. (I used tongs instead) It was new experience to me, Stephen had a ball with it he laughed and laughed about it, only because he wasn't the one who had to clean the bird.
Christmas Day morning was so much fun we got up at 5: 45 opened all the present we got each other. Then Stephen made us omelets they were sooooo good. After breakfast it was off to cooking again, I do have to stop and brag for a moment MY wonderful husband stood by me all day long asking "what can I do", he even cooked a little, so I could go sit down for a bit. We ate about 1:30 it was so weird not to be with my family on Christmas day but, I guess that is how it is when you live 2 hours way. Next year we will spend Christmas with my parents which will be awesome. Oh, yes we did play a game, just the one I got Stephen for Christmas. I was so very happy that everything went smooth. I'm not to sure that this will be a yearly thing but, it was fun while it lasted.
